September Goals



Alrighty I guess it’s time to get back to some monthly goals. 


-          Finish my first 70.3

-          Do I really need more than that? Fine, what else…

-          Make peace with my current abilities

-          But! keep the fire burning to further my abilities

-          Eat, drink and sleep like I don’t give a shit. AFTER my race.

That’s more than enough. Those require a lot of work, especially that last one. I have plenty of other things I’d like to work on but that’s for later months. Right now it’s all about finishing my first 70.3 and doing what I need to make it through the race in one piece, happy with myself and my day. After my race I’m officially in off season which is actually not true because I have a half marathon in November. Scratch that then. After my race I’m easing off of training a bit. Rest of the year is about shining some light on other parts of my life than just training. I can almost hear my husband’s sigh of relief. But first I must cross the finish line…
